Dermatology
The skin is the largest organ of the body and protects us from microbes and the elements. It helps us regulate body temperature, and permits the sensations of touch, heat, and cold. There are many things that can damage the skin, from simply drying out to serious illnesses such as skin cancer. Proper skin care is essential to maintaining a healthy life.
It is important to always wear sunscreen and adequately cover your skin with either an umbrella or clothing to protect it from direct sun exposure. Even on overcast and cloudy days, you need to protect your skin.
