Hepatitis is a group of diseases that affect liver that can be caused by consuming contaminated water or food, using dirty needles or syringes, or practicing unsafe sex. There are 6 known hepatitis viruses, but the most common are strains A, B, and C.

 

Symptoms of hepatitis include fever, appetite loss, nausea. Abdominal pain, and yellow colouring of the skin (Jaundice). For more information on hepatitis please visit Health Canada
