Migraine is  a headache disorder characterized by recurrent headaches that range from moderate to severe. Migraines typically affect one half of the head and are characterized by a pulsating pain, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light, sound, or smells. These types of headaches are incapacitating and generally cause the sufferer to be unable to function normally. Migraines can last anywhere from 24 hrs to 1 week.
